After more than two decades in television news, veteran journalist Mike Woolfolk formed The Woolfolk Group, offering media and public relations, media training, career coaching, public speaking, and other services.

In his 23 years of professional and volunteer work, Mike developed valuable skills in strategic planning and communication, marketing, publicity and event management to go along with his vast experience as a reporter, anchor, producer and newsroom manager that enable him to serve the growing communication needs of clients like you.

In addition to the resume and demo reel critique, those interested in pursuing a performance track will receive coaching in producing and writing effective stories, use of voice, on-camera performance, appearance and more. 

Students interested in a management track will receive coaching in building and producing engaging newscasts through the use of active writing, effective graphics support, pacing and more.  The ultimate goal:  Prepare you to get your first job and succeed!
